California's National Parks - Dilapidating ( California )

We visited Redwood National Forest and Yosemite National Park last month.I can't begin to tell everyone how impressed we were seeing all of the faded signage, crumbling roads and other deferred maintenance in these parks. Upon inquiring about the issue with various park personnel, rangers etc, we mostly got the same answer. They are under funded by the state and nation.
It was embarrassing to experience such dilapidation of our beautiful parks.
